• Which makes sense, because Joe Biden has taken upwards of 7,900 round trips of 250 miles on Amtrak. That’s nearly 2 million miles total. By comparison, the moon is 240,000 miles away. 
• Joe Biden was elected to the senate at 29. A person has to be 30 to serve. He defeated a highly respected incumbent Republican who was expected to win handily. National Democrats ignored his campaign until he won, and his campaign manager was his sister (she went on to manage all his other campaigns).
• After an inauspicious 1987-88 presidential primary campaign, Joe Biden suffered two brain aneurysms and, during recovery from surgery, a blood clot in his lung. He got better.
• Joe Biden’s smile is so blindingly white that Cadbury Adams (makers of Trident) set up a website about it. 
• When Joe Biden declared health care reform “a big fucking deal,” the Obama campaign turned it into a t-shirt. Actually they turned it into two t-shirts.
